Alexis is a journalist and writer based in New York City. She has also lived in Almaty, Kazakhstan; Boulder, Colorado; and Bristol, United Kingdom.

Her native languages are English and Russian. She has intermediate proficiency in German and is currently learning Italian.

In July of 2023 she received her BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bristol.

She has written for The Bristol Magazine, The Bath Magazine, and University of Bristol’s Helicon Magazine. She also runs a Substack with articles covering political and cultural topics, also featuring her photography and several longform interviews.
